How do i add new data to the system?

Data Upload

You can create a new company and assign contact information by following either of the below steps:

Batch Data Utility

You can upload data to the CRM in bulk, using the batch data utility. This is a module and needs to be activated by our support department. If you dont have access to this utility, please contact us for more information, if you have the module enabled please continue reading.

Prior to loading any data, you should download a copy of the Batch Data template: this is located on the system tools tab, -> utilitys sub-tab and then batch -data. you will see a green box that contains the word 'View Batch Data Template', download this excel sheet to ensure you have correctly formatted data.

Once you have completed the template, you should save the file as .CSV ensuring all dates are formated as yyyy-mm-dd and that telephone numbers are formatted as 00000000000 then:

As the data is being processed you will see an action log of activity, if any of the accounts fail to load the batch will be failed up until that point, meaning that if you need to re-load the file after fixing any problems, you should remove the all data rows up until the failed record from the file, this prevents duplicate data being loaded.

Manually

To load data to the system manually you should be within the default view.

  1. Click view tab.
  2. Default view should automatically be selected.
  3. Click the green box with a white + (plus) icon.
  4. The new company dialog box should appear.
  5. Once done, hit ok and the data will be saved.
